Paid Advertising

Ad spend that pays back more than it costs.

Paid media is the core of what we do, not one item on a list of ten services. We manage campaigns across Google, Meta, TikTok, Amazon, Pinterest, and Reddit, building from account setup through ongoing creative testing and monthly reporting.

The Work

What paid media actually involves.

Plain terms, no jargon. What we do and why each part matters.

Conversion tracking, set up properly

Most paid media problems start here. If the tracking is wrong, every decision made from the data is wrong too. We audit and set up conversion tracking before campaigns go live, not as an afterthought. For existing accounts we take over, this is often the first thing we find needs fixing.

Account structure built for the way campaigns actually work

Campaigns built from scratch are structured to make testing and scaling straightforward. For accounts we take over, we audit what's already there and fix the parts that would hold performance back, without rebuilding everything for its own sake.

Creative testing, ongoing

Ads go stale. What converts in January won't necessarily convert in June. We run structured creative testing continuously, so performance doesn't depend on one set of ads holding up indefinitely.

Budget allocation based on what's working

We don't split budget evenly across channels out of caution. Spend follows results. If Google Shopping is outperforming Meta by a significant margin, the budget should reflect that, and it will.

Working Together

The day-to-day, month to month.

What you can expect once campaigns are live.

Monthly deep-dive reports, with ongoing visibility in between

Each month you get a full performance review: what ran, what the numbers showed, what we're changing and why. Between reports, you have direct access to whoever manages your account, not a ticketing system or account manager passing messages along.

Direct access to the people doing the work

There's no layer between you and the person who knows your account. If something needs a quick answer or a campaign needs a fast call, you reach the person who can actually act on it.

Honest reporting when a channel underperforms

If a campaign isn't working, we say so clearly and explain what we're doing about it. You won't get a report that buries a poor month in context and green arrows. The numbers are what they are.

We managed the EMEA paid media programme for Meater, running campaigns across multiple markets at scale. The work went beyond running ads: we led creative A/B testing in close collaboration with their in-house team, building a continuous testing process rather than relying on a single creative set to carry performance across the year. The 4.2x average reflects performance sustained month on month, not a short peak.

Why This Works

What makes the difference in paid media.

Tracking is verified, not assumed

We check that conversions are recording correctly before spend goes live. It's a basic step that agencies often skip, and skipping it makes every number that follows unreliable.

Every pound of spend is accounted for

Ad spend, fees, and platform costs are broken out clearly. There's nothing obscured in a blended number.

Reporting reflects what the data actually shows

Monthly reports cover performance as it is, including the months that were harder. We don't manufacture optimism when a campaign needs more time or a change of direction.

We'll tell you if the timing isn't right

Paid media performs best above a certain spend threshold. If a business isn't there yet, we say so rather than take the account and underdeliver against it.

How It Starts

From enquiry to campaigns live.

What the first few weeks actually look like, in order.

1

Audit of current setup and tracking

We review your existing ad accounts (if any), check that conversion tracking is recording correctly across all channels, and identify the gaps before money goes out the door.

2

Channel strategy and budget plan

Based on what you sell, who buys it, and what your spend allows, we set out which channels to prioritise and how budget should be split at the start, with the expectation it shifts as data comes in.

3

Campaign build and launch

Accounts structured, creative approved, tracking verified. Campaigns go live when the setup is right, not before.

4

Ongoing creative testing and optimisation

From week one, we're testing ads, audiences, and bid strategies. What works gets more budget. What doesn't gets replaced or iterated on.

5

Monthly reporting and forward planning

Full performance review each month. What ran, what the numbers showed, what changes for the next month. You leave each meeting knowing exactly where your spend went and what it returned.

Most businesses that come to us have worked with at least one agency that promised strong results and then reported in ways that made poor performance hard to see. We can't speak for what others do, but we can say plainly: our monthly reports show the real numbers, including the months that were harder, and we tell you what we're changing when something isn't working.
